South-Western City Schools Identifies Five Superintendent Candidates

COLUMBUS, Ohio-The South-Western City School District is in the process of selecting a new superintendent following the resignation of longtime superintendent Bill Wise. Five candidates have been identified for first-round interviews:

1. Randy Banks: Assistant superintendent of Worthington City Schools, with previous experience in human resources at both Worthington and South-Western City Schools.
2. Todd Hoadley: Current superintendent of Tolles Career and Technical Center, with prior superintendent roles at Dublin City Schools, Olmstead Falls City Schools, and Van Buren Local Schools.
3. Jamie Lusher: Deputy superintendent of South-Western City Schools, with extensive administrative experience in various school districts.
4. Chris Papouras: Superintendent of Euclid City Schools, with previous experience as a principal and educator.
5. Walter Skaggs: Superintendent of St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools, with a background in educational leadership.

First-round interviews are scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday, with second-round interviews planned for June 3 and 4. The board of education emphasized the importance of evaluating candidates based on experience and community input.
