Keagan Crivello (left), seventh-grader at North Central Schools, won the 2025 Williams County Spelling Bee last week at the Bryan Arts and Education Center. The winning word was “spatula,” which coincidentally was the same winning word at this month’s Defiance County Spelling Bee. The runner-up was John Deitemeyer (right), eighth-grader at Bryan City Schools. Both students took home an engraved plaque for their accomplishments.
