SPRINGFIELD, Ohio-Middle school students from the Springfield City School District participated in the Do the Write Thing program for the fourth consecutive year. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost recently recognized ten students as finalists in the challenge.
The program, a national initiative, invites seventh and eighth graders to reflect on the impact of youth violence and propose solutions. Yost praised the students’ essays for their depth, insight, and thoughtfulness, highlighting their importance in shaping a better future.
