CLEVELAND, Ohio-St. Ignatius High School is moving closer to the construction phase of its extensive renovation and expansion project in Ohio City. Renovations on existing spaces began in March, with construction on the new academic building, DiSanto Hall, about to commence.
This three-story building will house the visual arts department, featuring classrooms, studios, and a press box overlooking Wasmer Field. The goal is to complete the project by the start of the 2025-26 school year. The academic building is named after alumni Fred DiSanto and his wife Brittan, who donated $10 million to the project. The overall “Campaign for Vision ‘30” aims to raise $100 million for the expansion and endowment, including plans for an athletic center with suites, locker rooms, and a café space.
