FAIRBORN, Ohio -The St. Ursula Academy volleyball team won its ninth state championship, defeating Whitehouse Anthony Wayne 3-2 in the Division II state final at Wright State University’s Nutter Center. After losing the first two sets, the Bulldogs rallied to take the next three, winning 23-25, 20-25, 25-17, 25-16, 15-9. This victory marks their first state title since 2003, when they were Division I champions, adding to their previous titles in 2001, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1994, and 1993.
