LIMA, Ohio-Lima City Schools are gearing up for the 2024-2025 school year with a spirited kick-off event at Lima Senior. On Tuesday, staff and educators gathered for a pep rally featuring cheerleaders, the band, and choir. Nationally recognized speaker Jack Berckemeyer motivated the attendees with humor and an important message about finding joy in their roles as educators. He emphasized the need for teachers to support each other and enjoy their time together, likening the gathering to a family reunion. Classes officially resume on Wednesday.
