A Strongsville teacher was voted the 2025 Young Professional of the Year by the Ohio Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (OAHPERD). Emily Weir teaches physical education at Kinsner Elementary School. She was given the award for the “innovative ways she is building health habits and foundations for active lifestyles in elementary school learners.”
