Student Facing Criminal Charges For Allegedly Attempting to Stab Principal at Robinson Elementary

TOLEDO, Ohio-A student at Robinson Elementary School in central Toledo is facing criminal charges after allegedly attempting to attack the principal, James Jones, on Tuesday. The incident stemmed from a disagreement between two students, prompting Jones to intervene.

One of the students became agitated, grabbed scissors from Jones’ desk, and lunged at him, slashing his coat. However, Jones was not injured in the altercation. The student involved, reported to be 15 years old, will face both criminal charges and disciplinary action from the district. Despite the incident occurring after school hours with few students present, classes at Robinson Elementary School will proceed as usual the following day.
