Study Shows 1 in 3 Divorced Ohio Dads Will not Spend Father’s Day With Their Children

COLUMBUS, Ohio-A study by Mixbook revealed that 34% of divorced dads in Ohio won’t be spending Father’s Day with their children. Nationally, 1 in 5 divorced fathers will miss Father’s Day with their kids.

The survey, based on 3,000 divorced fathers across the U.S., highlighted that half of those missing Father’s Day feel the impact of not being part of important moments in their children’s lives. Many expressed a desire to spend Father’s Day with their kids, with brunch being the preferred activity. Emotional distress was also noted among divorced fathers who are separated from their children on significant days like Father’s Day.
