COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Summit Country Day girls soccer team claimed their fifth state championship, defeating Ottawa-Glandorf 3-0 in the Division IV state final at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus. This marks their second consecutive title, with previous championships in 2011, 2015, 2017, and 2023. Summit, with a record of 22-1-1, led 1-0 at halftime, thanks to a goal that deflected off an Ottawa-Glandorf player. They added two more goals in the second half from Carolyn Federle and Alex Gardner, with Summit outshooting Ottawa-Glandorf 22-6.
