This Cincinnati High School Found a Simple Solution to Make Things Better

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio-As schools conclude the academic year, Principal Andy Jados of Turpin High School in the Forest Hills School District initiates a new senior tradition: exit interviews. Modeled after job exit interviews, Jados aims to gather feedback from seniors to enhance the school experience.

Questions cover post-graduation plans, desired classes, and impactful staff members. Seniors like JD McManus highlight the importance of fostering a sense of belonging and increasing student involvement. Jados plans to address common suggestions, such as enhancing student engagement, by forming collaborative groups of teachers and students. The insights from these interviews will be shared with staff to improve the overall school environment, ensuring a positive experience for students throughout their time at Turpin.
