WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio-During the annual West Lafayette-Ridgewood Alumni banquet, Raiden Medley, Alaina Swiney, and Corey Curt were awarded $1,000 scholarships. The event also honored the classes of 1944, 1954, 1964, 1974, and 1984, with special mention of Alfred Huff and William Shurtz, the surviving members of the Class of 1944.
Greg Lower, representing the Class of 1974, donated $3,000 to Cathy McCrea of the WLRAA committee for the Ridgewood Blessing Bag initiative, a program in partnership with Ridgewood Local Schools and West Lafayette United Methodist Church aimed at addressing food insecurities among students during non-school days.
