April, 17th, 2024-DUNCANVILLE, OhioA one-year-old boy was tragically killed by three large dogs while being babysat in a Duncanville home. Police responded to the attack, finding the child severely injured and unresponsive. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The homeowner was babysitting the child along with three other children, and it’s unclear their relationship to the toddler.
The homeowner owned four dogs, identified as Shepherd mixes, who attacked the child while in a confined area of the home. The homeowner intervened, sustaining injuries herself. The dogs are in quarantine pending surrender or declaration as dangerous. Investigations are ongoing regarding the homeowner potentially running an unlicensed daycare.
