TOLEDO, Ohio-The Toledo Public School district is confronted with two lawsuits from parents regarding incidents of assault that reportedly took place in May 2023.
In one case, a child reportedly suffered two broken teeth after a paraprofessional at Robinson Elementary slammed their face into a desk. The second incident, at Spring Elementary, involves an allegation that a special education teacher threw a child across the classroom. Both lawsuits claim racial and disability discrimination.
