WADSWORTH, Ohio-Wadsworth High School seniors Hailey Harris and Parker Ross achieved top 10 placements at DECA’s National competition in Anaheim, California. Both students, part of the Business Marketing Academy, excelled in various competitions, qualifying them for the Nationals. Harris secured first place in Sports and Entertainment Marketing at the state level, while Ross placed 5th in Marketing Communications.
The national event, spanning four days, involved rigorous testing and role-play scenarios. Despite the challenges, both students displayed dedication and perseverance. Harris and Ross managed a demanding schedule, balancing competition with leisure activities in Los Angeles. Their hard work paid off, with both ranking in the top ten nationally in their respective categories. Reflecting on their achievements, Harris and Ross expressed pride and satisfaction.
