WELLSVILLE, Ohio-Wellsville High School’s Class Day Ceremony on May 30 featured the announcement of graduating seniors and scholarship recipients. Sponsored by the Wellsville High School Alumni Association (W.H.S.A.A.), the ceremony awarded a total of $76,100 in scholarships to the Class of 2024.
Since its founding in 1989, W.H.S.A.A. has supported students’ educational pursuits, totaling $1,417,900 across 437 different graduates. Notable scholarships this year include the WHSAA-Luella Thompson Memorial Scholarship awarded to Amiyah Powell, the Julia Jenkins Gurganus Memorial Scholarship to Samantha Drysdale, and the Chamber of Commerce Scholarship to Colton Carter.
