WESTERVILLE, Ohio-The high school track and field season is reaching its climax, with regional competitions underway this week, determining berths to the state championships from May 30 to June 1 at Welcome Stadium in Dayton. Athletes, including standout Olivia Pace from Westerville Central, have been honing their skills throughout the regular season.
Olivia, a senior sprinter and long jumper bound for Southern California, clinched the title of central Ohio high school girls track and field regular-season athlete of the year. She set program records in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and long jump, and was a key member of the record-setting 400 relay team.
