WESTERVILLE, Ohio-Angie Hamberg has been appointed as the new permanent superintendent of Westerville City Schools following Joe Clark’s resignation less than five months into his tenure. Hamberg, who had been serving as interim superintendent during Clark’s departure, was unanimously voted into the role. Her contract extends until July 2027. School Board President Kristy Meyer noted Hamberg’s proactive contributions, including advancing the district’s strategic plan, which was approved during the meeting.
