COLUMBUS, Ohio-Three high schools in Westerville are teaming up with the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) to address food insecurity through community food drives held at their rivalry football games. The games are scheduled as follows:
– Westerville North vs. Westerville Central: August 23, 2024
– Westerville Central vs. Westerville South: August 30, 2024
– Westerville South vs. Westerville North: September 27, 2024
Attendees are encouraged to bring dry goods and canned food to support local families in need. WARM emphasizes that food pantries serve a diverse population, including those who may seem financially stable but are still struggling.
