Westerville Teen Honors WWII Heroes With Bagpipes at D-Day anniversary in New Orleans

WESTERVILLE, Ohio-Brody Alexander, a 16-year-old from Westerville, traveled to the WWII Museum in New Orleans to participate in a special tribute commemorating the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy. Playing his bagpipes, he paid homage to the heroes of 1944, whose actions contributed to the defeat of Nazi Germany in WWII.

This tribute held particular significance for Alexander, as his great-grandfather served in WWII. He expressed his desire to honor all WWII veterans who fought against evil. Known for his bagpiping skills, Alexander regularly performs at events honoring veterans in Central Ohio, including the National Veterans Memorial and Museum on Veterans Day.
