April 6th, 2024-COLUMBUS, Ohio-Saado M. Adam, accused of killing her 5-year-old child in January 2023, was found not guilty by reason of insanity by a Franklin County Common Pleas judge. Adam faced charges including murder, involuntary manslaughter, and endangering children.
Columbus police responded to Nationwide Children’s Hospital after a call regarding the deceased child. During the investigation, Adam revealed that she did not seek medical help for her son due to hearing voices instructing her not to. A doctor from Nationwide Children’s confirmed the child appeared to have suffered from prolonged starvation or inadequate feeding.
