With youth mental health concerns on the rise nationwide, a wellness camp hosted by Adaptive Sports Connection is using sports, outdoor adventure, music, art and mindfulness to give students new tools for mental wellness. Eighth-grader Ryken Langston said life brings both excitement and a bit of worry, and he’s learning ways to manage it. “When you do things that take your mind off of the one thing that you’re worried about, it just like leaves your mind,” Langston said.
