Four Teenagers Dead After Pickup Truck Collides With Semi Near Columbus

MADSION, Ohio-Four teenagers tragically lost their lives in a collision involving a pickup truck and a semi truck east of Columbus. The pickup truck, a 2000 Ford F150, failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a 2017 Western Star semi traveling east on Highway 16/60.

Three occupants of the pickup, including the driver, a 19-year-old, and two passengers aged 17 and 16, died at the scene. Another 18-year-old woman passed away later at UW Hospital, while another woman sustained life-threatening injuries. The semi driver, a 57-year-old man, suffered minor injuries. The crash is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team, with assistance from various emergency response teams.
