They’ve overcome adversity, defied the odds, and now they are stepping into adulthood. 17 local teens are not only graduating from high school, they’re also aging out of the foster care system. A celebration to mark their resilience and the beginning of a brand new chapter. Each horn was to celebrate the accomplishments and dreams of 17 children in foster care who graduated. A parade took place this afternoon around Lucas County Children Services.
