EUCLID, Ohio-After an Euclid High School football game on Friday night, a shooting on Nicholas Avenue near East 222nd Street resulted in the death of one 17-year-old and injuries to four other teens, all between 16 and 17 years old. The shooting occurred around 10:15 p.m., about an hour after the game ended. The victims were rushed to nearby hospitals, with three taken to University Hospital and two to Hillcrest Hospital. Euclid Police confirmed the incident was not random and are actively investigating, though no arrests have been made. The deceased teen was not enrolled in Euclid City Schools, which will provide counseling starting Tuesday. The police have stated there is no ongoing threat to the public and are seeking information from the community.
