COLUMBUS, Ohio-Judge Monica Hawkins ruled that 17-year-old Dreyton Johnson, charged with aggravated robbery and murder in the death of 21-year-old Andrew Combs, will be tried as an adult. Johnson was 15 when he and two other teens attempted a robbery at a Sunoco on West Broad Street, during which Johnson allegedly shot and killed Combs after he tried to intervene. Johnson will be indicted and arraigned in Common Pleas Court in the coming weeks.
