BATAVIA, Ohio -Chad Doerman, who was charged with murdering his three young sons on June 15, 2023, has pleaded guilty after over a year of legal proceedings. Initially facing nine counts of aggravated murder, eight counts of kidnapping, and four counts of felonious assault, Doerman pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated murder and two counts of felonious assault. As part of a plea deal, he is sentenced to life without parole, avoiding the death penalty.
