CLEVELAND, Ohio-Starry Welch, 26, pleaded not guilty in court to charges related to a hit-and-run crash on July 18, in which she allegedly struck a mother, Tashae Williams, and her baby, De-Mari Williams. De-Mari was severely injured and placed in a medically induced coma. Welch reportedly left the scene and was arrested on July 29. Her driving record reveals a history of offenses, including driving under a suspended license in multiple cities and a previous crash while under the influence in November 2023. She received one year of probation for that incident.
