NEW VIENNA, Ohio-Two accidents involving the same school bus transporting fifth-grade students from COSI museum were detailed by East Clinton Local School District Superintendent Eric Magee. The first occurred on I-71 when the bus rear-ended a car due to sudden lane merging.
The second incident, on Route 72, saw the bus veering off the road, resulting in minor injuries to 10 students. The cause of the second accident is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, with potential criminal implications according to the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office. Magee has communicated with parents and plans to discuss the matter further in an executive session.
