COLUMBUS, Ohio-Madeira High School’s girls soccer team won its second state championship by defeating Doylestown Chippewa 3-0 in the Division V state final at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus. Natasha Davis scored two goals, and Vivian Momper added one, giving Madeira a 3-0 lead at halftime. Macy Mueller assisted on one of Davis’s goals. Madeira dominated, outscoring Chippewa 23-2 and leading in corner kicks 9-0. Goalkeeper Makayla Davenport made one save. The team finished the season with a 20-1-2 record. A celebration is planned for the team upon their return home. Coach Dan Brady praised the senior class for their dedication and focus.
