CINCINNATI, Ohio-The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library celebrated the grand opening of the new Forest Park Branch Library on September 14, following a 19-month construction project costing $19.2 million. The 26,440-square-foot facility is part of the library’s master plan and was attended by over 2,800 guests, including dignitaries like library director Paula Brehm-Heeger and Forest Park Mayor Aharon Brown. The event featured community programs, a “MakerSpace,” and activities in a children’s area. Branch Manager Shaun Davidson highlighted the library’s significance to the community, reflecting on a comment card expressing hope that the library would be “real,” emphasizing its future impact on families.
