A recent report from the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Cannabis Control shows that children under the age of six have been exposed to cannabis edibles at a higher rate than in 2023, emphasizing the need for safe storage during the holidays. According to the report, which was done by the Central Ohio Poison Center, more than 500 Ohio children under the age of six were exposed to edibles from January 2024 through November 2024. This would be a 30% increase in exposure to edibles in that age group compared to 2023.
