Bridgeport Schools will welcome a new resource officer this fall. Michelle Anderson will take over the role following the retirement of longtime officer Harley Johnston. Anderson brings 27 years of law enforcement experience. She began her career in 1997 with the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, where she worked in the county jail, as a road deputy, and as a domestic violence investigator. She also served on the SWAT team.
