The Pickerington Local School District Board of Education has announced three finalists in its search for a new superintendent.
The candidates are Dr. Heather Hedgepeth, Dr. M. Denise Lutz, and Dr. Charles Smialek.
- Dr. Heather Hedgepeth is currently the Assistant Superintendent and Chief Administrative Officer for Pickerington Local Schools. She has been with the district since 2003 and has served in various leadership roles to support student success and district operations.
- Dr. M. Denise Lutz is the Chief Excellence and Engagement Officer for Upper Arlington City Schools. She has focused on district-wide initiatives that drive academic excellence and community engagement since 2017.
- Dr. Charles Smialek has been the Superintendent and CEO of Parma City Schools since 2018, where he has overseen strategic improvements and district-wide leadership.
