CINCINNATI, Ohio-A 6-year-old girl is in critical condition at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital after being struck by a car on River Road. The incident occurred just after 5 p.m. when a 48-year-old woman driving a 2017 Dodge Journey hit the girl as she attempted to cross the road. The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities do not suspect excessive speed or impairment as factors in the crash. River Road was closed between Bender Road and Darby Lane for several hours for investigation. Police noted the girl was alert and conscious initially but is now in critical condition.
