SOLON, Ohio-Donna Reder, a Solon resident, expressed concern to the City Council on May 20 regarding the demolition of a preschool playground on recently acquired land near Solon Community Park. She and many other residents were surprised and upset by the decision to replace the playground with a community garden. Reder stated that she and 200 other residents were unaware of this plan.
