SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, Ohio-A group of high school students from Sycamore High School in Cincinnati will soon get a unique opportunity to perform with the classic rock band Foreigner. On Friday, during a joint concert with Styx at Riverbend Music Center, Sycamore’s Aves Choir will join Foreigner on stage to sing their hit song “I Want to Know What Love Is.” This performance marks the third collaboration between the choir and Foreigner, with the band having previously partnered with the choir in 2013 and 2017. Foreigner’s tradition of involving student choirs in their concerts is supported by donations, including a $500 contribution to Sycamore’s choral program and proceeds from CD sales benefiting The Grammy Foundation. The students, including seniors Hannah Alex and Lucas Calabrese, are excited about the performance, which they see as a significant confidence-building experience.
