COLUMBUS, Ohio-Melissa Miller, a school bus driver from Upper Arlington, is facing trial starting Monday on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI). The charges stem from allegations that students on her bus reported she was driving erratically and appeared intoxicated while transporting them to school in November. Police administered a sobriety test to Miller, which they claim she failed. Miller contends that her erratic driving was due to maneuvering to avoid a sudden stop by a large truck in front of her. Her jury trial is set to commence at 1:30 p.m.
