LIMA, Ohio-On Monday, Unity Elementary students bid farewell to their mentors from Lima Senior High’s DECA program as they prepared for graduation. The high school students, dressed in caps and gowns, visited Unity for a final time, reflecting on the year spent providing academic help, life advice, and emotional support to their younger counterparts. This annual tradition emphasizes appreciation and encouragement as the littles look forward to their own futures. DECA seniors Victoria Holbrook-Phillips and Chase Hipsher expressed the importance of demonstrating progress and hope to the younger students, highlighting the meaningful connections formed throughout the year. Lima Senior High’s commencement ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 25th, at 11:30 a.m.
