CINCINNATI, Ohio-A mother, Raeawna Johnson, left her 5-year-old and 2-year-old children unattended at home while she went to a hair appointment in Avondale. During her absence, a fire broke out on the stove in their apartment.
The children were seen outside the apartment by neighbors, and the fire alarm was activated. The 5-year-old attempted to extinguish the fire with a towel. Fortunately, no one was injured. Johnson is now facing charges for leaving her young children unsupervised.
