Detectives are investigating after a child was wounded on Warren’s Northwest side late Wednesday. Officials received a report of gunfire along the Roosevelt NW, near Ogden Avenue, before 10 p.m. Nine police cruisers and an ambulance were called to an address after learning that an 11-year-old boy had been shot in the hand. The child was taken to a hospital for treatment of the wound.
