HILLIARD, Ohio-A 15-year-old girl was arrested for sending a text jokingly claiming to have seen someone with a gun in a hallway at Hilliard Bradley High School. The City of Hilliard reported that a school resource officer and the high school’s administration were alerted, leading to a lockdown.
Nearby Memorial Middle and Brown Elementary schools were also placed on lockdown as a precaution. After a search, authorities confirmed no threat. The girl was charged with inducing panic, and the city emphasized the seriousness of school safety, urging parents to discuss this with their children.
