VERMILION, Ohio-Robert M. Bores, a 34-year-old man from Florence Township in Erie County, was arrested for allegedly using a cattle prod to discipline his two children, aged 7 and 8. Erie County Sheriff’s deputies stated that Bores used the cattle prod for disciplinary purposes.
Bores faces three counts of felony domestic violence and three counts of child endangering. This isn’t his first encounter with the law, as he has previously been arrested for domestic violence. Bores was arraigned with bond set at $90,000 and must wear a GPS monitor if he posts bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 21.
