CLEVELAND, Ohio-A teenage boy was shot outside Marion-Sterling School in Cleveland around 10:40 a.m. The incident occurred on East 30th Street near Cedar Avenue.
The victim, an eighth-grade student, left the school with his aunt and was shot in a nearby vacant field shortly after. He was transported to a hospital in stable condition. The CMSD Division of Safety and Security has provided leads to the police. Officers searched the field, and CMSD CEO Dr. Warren Morgan was observed at the scene. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
