CLEVELAND, Ohio-An 18-year-old male was taken to University Hospital in critical condition following a shooting near East 153rd and Glendale Avenue in Cleveland Wednesday, according to Cleveland EMS. The shooting happened around 510 p.m. Javonte McCoy who lives across the street from where the shooting happened says this gun violence just hits too close to home, “I’m worried about the young man shot in the house. Is he okay? Because I saw crime scene tape and when that comes it means there’s something bad.” A man and a woman who were inside the house were both handcuffed and placed in two different police cruisers. it’s unclear if the pair was arrested or just being questioned by police.
