A Cuyahoga County jury has acquitted a Medina father of murder in the death of 27-day-old Deondre Hairston. Deondre Hairston Sr., 24, along with the infant’s mother, Diamond Caldwell, and family member Michael Berry were each charged with murder, felonious assault, endangering children, obstructing justice and tampering with evidence in the July 4, 2023, death.
