CINCINNATI, Ohio-Lily Diebold, a senior at Colerain High School, is determined to participate in the Flying Pig Weekend despite conflicts with her senior prom. She plans to run races each day of the weekend, including the mile on Friday night, the 5K and 10K on Saturday, and the half marathon on Sunday.
This year is special for Lily, as it marks a transition from high school to college. She will be attending Northern Kentucky University in the fall, supported by a $20,000 college scholarship from the Flying Pig Community Scholars Program. Despite the challenges, Lily is excited about the experience and the support she receives from the community while running.
