AVON, Ohio-Avon Lake High School is hosting a grand orchestral performance of Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” featuring a full orchestra, school chorus, and harpsichord. The concert, scheduled for May 23 at 7:30 p.m., promises a mesmerizing musical experience. General admission tickets are priced at $5. Emilio Jarufe, the school’s choral director, highlights the significance of this performance, with 154 singers participating, showcasing their hard work since February.
The concert includes all 12 movements of “Gloria” and the renowned “Four Seasons.” Jarufe praises Vivaldi’s masterpiece for its unique composition and positive message supporting female empowerment.
