Loudonville School Board Starts Renewal Levy Process

LOUDONVILEE, Ohio-The Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Village Schools Board of Education initiated the process to renew a levy on the upcoming May ballot. The levy, initially passed in 2013, has provided the district with $1,334,102 annually since 2015.

It primarily supports operational expenses, including salaries, building maintenance, textbooks, and technology. The renewal, which requires approval from the Ohio Department of Taxation, is expected to maintain the current funding level. District Treasurer Christine Angerer expressed confidence in the levy’s passage, citing past successful renewals, including one in 2021 for an additional 10 years.
