OLMSTED FALL, Ohio-Four-year-old Matt Perez was thrilled about starting Kindergarten at Olmsted Falls City School District but was initially denied entry based on his IQ test results. His mother, Sara Perez, appealed the decision but did not receive a response. Instead, she was informed Matt had been enrolled, only to later be told he was unenrolled due to the test results. The school district stated they follow their Board of Education policy and prefer direct communication over media involvement for resolving such issues.
